Canterbury Slalom - Lake Hood - 14 February 2009
The Canterbury Slalom held at Lake Hood this year attracted 33 entries who enjoyed the calm conditions throughout the day. There were some great and spectacular performances with Rebecca Summerill and Karl Donaldson both taking new Canterbury records. Karl beat his own Under 21 Mens record set at Aquafest two weeks before taking a further half buoy to score 4.5@58 on the 12m line. Rebecca recorded 1@55 on the 12m line to set a new Canterbury Open Womens record.

A contingent of skiers from Northbrook Waters boosted the entries and provided good competition in their respective grades.
