Another who is familiar to the Tekapo scene is Chris Brown. Chris was placed second equal with Andrew James in Series 1 and was 6th in the handicap. Chris' best pass was 2 buoys on the 12 metre line at 55 kph.
 
 


Bryan Murray couldn't resist a return to Tekapo for the annual slalom even though he was booked in for the Nationals at Piarere the next week. The veteran skier took out the handicap honours for the event and also won the Series 4 category. Bryan's best pass was 4 buoys at 52 kph on the 18.25.


 
 

The Lake Tekapo Power Boat & Water Ski Clubhouse provided a eye-catching backdrop to the weekends events on the water. It was decked out with flags and banners from National Championship tournaments that have been held there. The boat in front of the clubrooms is Miss Tekapo II built by club member Dick Gard. Grant Brown was the winner of Series 3 and was placed 8th in the handicap. Grant's best run was 4 buoys at 55 kph.
 
 

Josh Byrne also put in a welcome appearance at Tekapo seen here around 5 ball on Sunday morning. Josh's best was 2 buoys at 55 kph on the 16.

 
 

These young ladies found plenty to occupy themselves as well as taking in the slalom action.

 
 
Tom Green gave the event plenty of effort and was rewarded with first place in series 2 and 2nd in the handicap. Tom's best was 4 balls at 58 kph on the 14.

It wasn't a race but someone forgot to tell the drivers. Boats churn up the water during the poker run held on Sunday afternoon as part of the reunion weekend activities.
